Canadian Online Training for Employees and Supervisors
Preventing workplace harassment, bullying and violence begins with awareness, education and a shared understanding of respectful conduct.
HR Proactive’s Preventing Harassment, Bullying and Violence online training program helps employees and supervisors recognize inappropriate behaviour, understand their responsibilities, and respond appropriately when concerns arise.
Developed for Canadian workplaces, this interactive eLearning program combines legislative requirements with realistic workplace scenarios to help organizations create safer, more respectful working environments.
because small moments can grow into bigger problems.
Workplace harassment, bullying and violence can affect employee well-being, working relationships, productivity and organizational culture.
Not all workplace issues begin with serious misconduct. Sometimes, concerns develop through inappropriate jokes, disrespectful comments, exclusion, intimidation or behaviour that continues despite its impact on others.
Recognizing these behaviours early and understanding how to respond can help prevent situations from becoming more serious.
Effective workplace harassment training goes beyond explaining policies and legislation. It helps employees understand how everyday interactions, communication and behaviour contribute to a respectful workplace.

Through our experience conducting workplace investigations and helping organizations address harassment, bullying and violence, we have seen firsthand how workplace issues arise and how misunderstandings, inappropriate conduct and unresolved concerns can affect employees and working relationships.
We developed our Preventing Harassment, Bullying and Violence training program to make legislative requirements easier to understand and apply. By combining plain-language education with realistic scenarios and interactive learning, we help employees and supervisors recognize concerning behaviour, understand their responsibilities and make informed decisions when workplace situations arise.

Our training uses relatable workplace situations to help learners recognize that professional responsibilities may extend beyond the physical workplace and regular working hours when conduct is connected to employment.
helping you meet your obligations across Canada.
Canadian employers have responsibilities under applicable occupational health and safety legislation to address workplace harassment and violence.
Requirements vary across federal, provincial and territorial jurisdictions. Depending on the jurisdiction, employers may be required to establish policies and programs, provide information and instruction, and communicate reporting and response procedures.
In Ontario, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, including amendments introduced through Bill 168 and Bill 132, establishes important employer obligations relating to workplace violence and harassment.
Our Canadian online training program is designed to support organizations in educating employees and supervisors about workplace harassment and violence prevention.
Training is one component of an organization’s broader prevention responsibilities and can be complemented by its own policies, procedures and workplace-specific information.
